Introduction

Welcome, i am Nasrul Rosman and this would be my first post on my favorite sport Tennis. For starters, i would like to introduce you to what is Tennis? well, Tennis is basically a sport played by two players which called the singles game, or two teams which consists of two players which called the doubles game. each player is equipped with a strung racket and striking on a hollow rubber ball that is covered with a felt over a net on a court. Tennis is for anyone who are able to hold a racket, even people with disabilities sitting on wheelchairs can play a game of Tennis.

The modern game of Tennis came from Birmingham, England in the late 19th century and it was called lawn tennis. After its creation lawn tennis spread throughout the upper-class English-speaking population before spreading around the world. Tennis is enjoyed by millions of recreational players and is also a hugely popular worldwide spectator sport, especially the four Grand tournaments (also referred to as the Majors) : The Australian Open played on hard courts, The French Open played on red clay courts, Wimbledon played on grass courts, and the US Open played also on hard courts.
